1	I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD .	A song of ascents. Of David. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”	A Song of Ascents. By David. I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”
2	Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.	Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.	Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem!
3	Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:	Jerusalem is built up as a city united together,	Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together,
4	Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD , unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the LORD .	where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD.	where the tribes go up, even Yah’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to Yahweh’s name.
5	For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.	For there the thrones of judgment stand, the thrones of the house of David.	For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David’s house.
6	Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.	Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you prosper.	Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.
7	Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.	May there be peace within your walls, and prosperity inside your fortresses.”	Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
8	For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.	For the sake of my brothers and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”	For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
9	Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.	For the sake of the house of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.	For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.
